Shockwave
Shockwave Therapy is a non-invasive treatment that relieves pain and promotes the healing of injured tendons, ligaments, and soft tissues by using acoustic pressure waves—essentially shock waves—to enhance blood circulation and stimulate the body’s natural healing process. This process releases growth factors, further accelerating recovery and reducing discomfort.
Conditions treated:
- Neck pain
- Back & Hip pain
- Shoulder pain, Rotator Cuff injuries, frozen shoulder
- Elbow strain, Tennis elbow, Golfer’s elbow,
- Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
- Knee pain, Patellar Tendonitis, Osteoarthritis, Ligament/Meniscus injuries
- Ankle Sprain/Strain
- Plantar Fasciitis
Most people will need four or five treatments with the EPAT device, though some may require fewer. Each session lasts 10 to 15 minutes, depending on the area being treated, and many people experience immediate pain relief. We may recommend shockwave therapy alone or in combination with other therapies, such as laser therapy and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections.
